Who can apply to become a Hosted Buyer?
Senior decision-makers responsible for sourcing meetings, incentives, conferences, exhibitions, corporate travel, and business event services, with proven purchasing authority.
What does the Hosted Buyer Program include?
Approved buyers receive return flights (where applicable), four nights' accommodation, airport transfers, pre-scheduled business appointments, networking events, and access to all official programs.
How are applications evaluated?
Applications are reviewed based on purchasing responsibility, annual business volume, event sourcing requirements, and relevance to participating exhibitors.
How are my business appointments arranged?
Before the event, you'll access the Meet Nairobi Matchmaking Platform to request meetings with exhibitors. A personalized appointment diary is created prior to arrival.
Can I choose the exhibitors I want to meet?
Yes. Buyers can browse exhibitor profiles, send meeting requests, and accept appointments through the matchmaking platform.
When will I know if my application is successful?
Successful applicants will receive confirmation by email after the evaluation process, along with travel and program information.
Do I need to attend all scheduled meetings?
Yes. Hosted Buyers are expected to honour their confirmed appointment schedule and actively participate throughout the program.
Will Meet Nairobi assist with visa applications?
Yes. Invitation letters and supporting documentation are provided to approved Hosted Buyers where required for visa applications.
Can I extend my stay in Kenya?
Absolutely. Buyers may extend their visit at their own expense, subject to airline availability and hotel arrangements.
