Information for MICE professionals attending Meet Nairobi 2026 as self-sponsored buyers and visitors.
Who is considered a Trade Buyer?
A trade buyer is a self-sponsored attendee involved in event planning, business travel, or destination sourcing, including:
- Corporate travel managers
- Event planners (agency or in-house)
- Procurement officers
- Industry consultants
- Regional buyers from Africa or neighboring countries
You’ll cover your own travel and accommodation but gain full access to the show.
What does my registration include?
Your badge grants access to:
- The exhibition floor
- Open networking areas
- Learning sessions and destination briefings
- Optional city tours (with RSVP)
- Opportunity to request meetings with exhibitors
Is there a fee to attend as a trade buyer?
No — general entry is free for qualified trade buyers. However, access to some side events or experiences may be limited and subject to RSVP or fee.
Can I pre-schedule meetings with exhibitors?
Yes, you’ll be able to request appointments through the event platform or directly approach exhibitors onsite. Hosted buyer pre-scheduling is prioritized, but trade buyers can participate in open slots or ad hoc networking.
Are accommodations provided?
Not for trade buyers. However, we have negotiated special rates at partner hotels in Nairobi, including Radisson Blu Hotel Nairobi, Villa Rosa Kempinski, and others. Booking links will be shared via email after registration.
Will I receive a confirmation?
Yes. Once your application is reviewed and approved, you’ll receive an email with a registration code and attendee information pack.
What are the event dates and times?
- 9 June 2026: Welcome Reception & Cultural show (evening)
- 10 June 2026: Full-day B2B exhibition
- 11 June 2026: Full-day B2B exhibition, Supplier/Client Office visits & Gala Dinner
Badge collection begins at the venue on 9 June from 10:00 AM.
Can I upgrade to the Hosted Buyer Program?
If you believe you meet the hosted buyer criteria, you may still apply. However, once accepted as a trade buyer, hosted slots are limited and cannot be guaranteed.
Will I receive visa support?
No formal invitation is issued for trade buyers. If you require a general letter of attendance for visa purposes, please email us directly with your registration details.
