Who is a Visitor Buyer?
Visitor Buyers are business professionals attending Meet Nairobi to discover suppliers, explore destinations, attend knowledge sessions, and build new business relationships. They fund their own travel and accommodation.
What does my Visitor Buyer registration include?
Your registration includes access to the exhibition, networking opportunities, open knowledge sessions, destination showcases, and the Meet Nairobi event app.
Can I schedule meetings with exhibitors?
Yes. Visitor Buyers may request meetings through the Meet Nairobi Matchmaking Platform. While meetings are subject to exhibitor availability, the platform enables you to connect and arrange appointments before and during the event.
Is accommodation included?
No. Visitor Buyers arrange and pay for their own travel and accommodation. Meet Nairobi will provide access to negotiated hotel rates with official partner hotels.
Can I attend the Summit and Knowledge Hubs?
Yes. Visitor Buyers have access to the Business Events Summit, Business Travel sessions, destination presentations, and other open education programs, subject to venue capacity.
Will I receive an event badge?
Yes. Approved registrations receive a digital confirmation and an official event badge for access to the exhibition and eligible event areas.
Can I upgrade to the Hosted Buyer Program?
Visitor Buyer registrations cannot be upgraded automatically. If you meet the Hosted Buyer criteria before the application deadline, you may submit a Hosted Buyer application for consideration.
Do I need a visa to travel to Kenya?
Visa requirements depend on your nationality. Meet Nairobi provides travel guidance and invitation letters where applicable to support your travel arrangements.
Can I invite colleagues to attend?
Yes. Colleagues are welcome to register individually as Visitor Buyers or Industry Visitors through the official registration portal.
